When Fitting Insulation Boards
When installing our insulation boards we recommend a minimum of a 3mm bed of flexible tile adhesive.
This depth would be dependant on the subfloor.
Should there be concerns of unevenness, a deeper bed will be suggested.

When Tiling Directly to a ExpressPro/ ExpressDeck/
Electric UFH (Sticky mat and loose cable) System
When tiling directly over these underfloor heating systems we recommend a 7mm bed to ensure cables are fully covered and tiles are fully adhered to the surface.

To correctly calculate the amount of adhesive you require use the follow formula:

1.5kg x m2 x bed depth = total Kg divided by 20kg bags = QTY
